Board of Assessors
The Board of Assessors is empowered by the City Charter and guided by State Statutes, Department of Revenue Administrative Rules and local legislation.
The Board of Assessors' responsibilities include reviewing Assessing Department policies for compliance with State Statutes, Department Of Revenue Administrative Rules and local legislation.
The Board is ultimately responsible for all assessments in the City of Nashua and must review all applications for abatement.
Regularly scheduled meetings of the Board are held on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 8:15 AM. The meetings are open to the public, but appointments are required for appearance before the Board and may easily be made by calling the Assessing Office at (603) 589-3040 or send E-mail to Assessing Department E-mail.
